Only a small crack...

Well, my clock did crack but only a little bit and I have decided its adding that handmade feel. (You can see it from the back in the second pic) I left the front matt and glazed the back to give it some shine. Overall I am happy with it and it was a lovely, enjoyable process. Thanks again Mel.

Sample Tiles

I have been working on a clock in my ceramic classes and these tiles are some surface experiments. I was happy with how they have turned out so I have famed them to put on the wall. I used string and fabric dipped in slip to create the relief effect and a Japanese transfer paper and inlay for the other two. The clock should be out of the kiln now, hopefully with no cracks - fingers crossed.
